I just released a video guide on three.js optimization techniques! I’ve been wanting to create threejs tutorials for years, but I always shied away and found excuses not to do it. Since I had very little knowledge of After Effects, it took me many hours to figure it out but I hope it turned out ok!

Lottie and threejs interactive scrolling website
Recently launched our agency “Christmas card” at https://treesforlifenotjustforxmas.com
The setup is Lottie animations brought into an FBX animation exported from Cinema 4D R20. Animation is controlled with gsap timeline.
Lots of interesting problems to solve with writing optimisation on this one!
Will be attempting future projects in Blender for better GLB support and either with all animations done in Blender or using a JSON parser to bring the Lottie animations fully in to threejs or Blender.
